Recipe Scaler FAQ
Should seasonings be scaled in proportion?
Usually, but strong seasonings such as salt and soy sauce can end up too strong when a recipe is doubled. Start with a little less and adjust to taste.
How is "to taste" handled?
The quantity field is disabled and the result shows "to taste" as well.
What happens with fractions?
Results are rounded to suit the unit: whole grams and milliliters (one decimal under 10), halves for pieces, and quarters for spoons and cups.
