Wheel: tips and things to know
- Enter one item per line, as many as you like. Colors are assigned automatically from a 20-color palette.
- Turn on "remove winners" to take each result off the wheel, for choosing turns one by one or a knock-out draw.
- Two to twenty items keep the labels readable; more works but the text shrinks.
- The last 20 results are kept, with the latest highlighted.
- Use it for prize draws, lunch decisions, turn order, dares, icebreaker topics or chores.
How to use the Wheel

Turn on "remove winners" for turn order or elimination; leave it off to pick one item.
Spin
Press Spin and the wheel turns five to seven times before stopping.

The item under the pointer wins and is shown in the banner.

Past results appear below. With "remove winners" on, they disappear from the wheel.
Wheel FAQ
How is this different from the random picker and the dice?
The random picker draws several winners from a list; the dice are for numbers. The wheel picks one item with a spinning animation, which is the one to use when you want a bit of drama in front of a group.
How many items can I add?
There is no hard limit, but 2 to 20 items stay readable. For long lists the random picker is a better fit.
What does "remove winners" do?
Each result is taken off the wheel for the next spin, so you can assign turns or eliminate options one at a time. "Restore" puts them back.
Is it truly random?
Yes. The winner is chosen with the browser's random number generator first, then the wheel is animated to land on it, so every item has an equal chance.
Is my list sent anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so names and prize lists stay private.
Does it work on a phone or a big screen?
Yes, on phones, tablets and desktops. Put it on a projector or TV for events.
