Coin Flip FAQ
Is the flip really fair?
Yes. Each side has exactly a 50% chance, using the browser's random number generator. Unlike a physical coin there is no bias from weight or the starting face.
Can I rename heads and tails?
Yes. Each label can be any text up to 12 characters, so the coin can decide between any two options.
Why flip a coin to decide?
Because your reaction to the result tells you what you actually wanted. Relief means you were leaning that way; disappointment means the opposite. Use the coin as a prompt, not a verdict.
When would I flip more than one coin?
Three or five coins let you decide by majority, tilting the odds slightly. Ten coins are handy for showing how results approach 50/50 as the number of flips grows.
